Breaking: PZAB Postpones Meeting over Application Concerns
THANK YOU to all who came tonight – a huge turnout to support the Preserve!
The Planning and Zoning Board voted to postpone review of the Developer’s applications until their next meeting — after Village staff announced major concerns with the application that have not been addressed. Those include not being able to accommodate the influx of traffic, the lack of a master plan, and that the desired condo-hotels and cluster homes exceed village lot density standards.
Regrettably, the developer seems intent on continuing to fast-track the application. They asked to have a “special meeting” the week following the regularly scheduled May 10th meeting, to give them extra time. But when asked if they could wait until the regular June meeting, they said that would be too long of a delay.
Stay tuned.
