It’s important to understand how important the preserve is to the Wellington. It has helped Wellington become what it is today – a thriving, family-friendly town with a lot of green space that promotes a wide variety of equestrian uses.

Without the preserve, Wellington would be subject to the same development pressures that have affected most of Florida, leading to over-development.
